I have 13 years of exposure to hunting. The first thing I ever shot was a wild hog 9-10 years ago. Between then and now have been more hogs, coyotes, and an armadillo. I haven't been able to score a white tail yet. But, this is my year. Every time in the past we either see nothing at all, illegal bucks, or does (which in the national forest in Tx we can't shoot except during archery, muzzleloader, and youth-only seasons). So I have never had my chance to get one. The last couple of years I have pulled back some with going because our daughter has really gotten interested in hunting and she got a deer both years. Fingers crossed I beat out Bo and get a big one :)
